About Lexigogo

Lexigogo is a mobile application that allows users to record legally binding agreements and evidence via video and images. Instead of complicated written contracts, agreements can be easily recorded using a smartphone. Each video automatically receives a timestamp and location data, and cannot be altered or manipulated afterwards. When the application is used correctly, the video can be granted legal evidential value.

The app makes it easy for everyone to record appointments and evidence, from someone who wants to document agreements to organisations that integrate proof into their workflow via a central management dashboard. This is particularly valuable in sectors where disputes may arise over what has been agreed or executed, such as the construction industry, insurers, or real estate professionals.

Each party confirms their agreement directly on the smartphone or tablet. This confirmation is securely recorded to ensure that all parties have agreed. The correct time and location are verified through a reliable server, so that an incorrect clock on the device does not affect the timing of the recording.

Do you have questions about the application or would you like to know more about Lexigogo within your company? Then you can get in touch via the contactform

About the use of the app

After the app is downloaded from the App Store or Google Play, the user must create an account. Authentication is based on an email address and a password. Once the account is created and the licence is concluded, the user can register and share digital evidence or agreements. The videos, photos, and documents that the user creates in the app are encrypted and provided with a timestamp and location stamp.

The content cannot be accessed by other users, but only by the user themselves and by the users they grant access to or invite as a counterpart in the app.

From the overview page in the application, a new file can easily be created by clicking on '+'. From here, you can choose between a video recording or a photo. After making your choice, the camera will open and the app will request access to the microphone (in the case of a video recording). Once the recording has stopped, the date, time, and GPS location are automatically added.

As part of the app's functionality, the user can link their account to accounts with external service providers. This is done by logging into the app with the credentials of those external accounts and granting Lexigogo access to these accounts, in accordance with the terms of the relevant service provider.

Yes, the app is offline-first. This means you can make video recordings or take pictures without needing internet access. Everything is stored locally and automatically synchronised as soon as you are back online. Uploads are preferably done via wifi.

The application works on iOS 15 and above and on Android 9 and above. The app can be downloaded from the App Store or from Google Play.

Yes, for using the app you can choose a subscription based on the required storage space and the desired support. View the various prices here.

The subscription can be cancelled at any time.

If the user no longer wishes to use the app and does not renew their subscription, they will have the opportunity to download their own documents from the app for a period of one month. This period begins on the day following the end of the subscription term.

Your PIN secures signing keys. If you lose your PIN, you can set up new keys with a new PIN through re-identification.

When you first use the application, you create a local account. You need to link an email address and a password to this. If you want to use SSO (Single Sign On), please contact the helpdesk. You can do this via the contactform.

Logging in is done with Microsoft Entra. Through this external system, you can easily change your email address and passwords yourself, and they are not stored in the Lexigogo app.

In the settings, you can turn notifications on or off by type. By default, all notifications are turned on.

When you first use it, you go through a short guide. Within the application, you will also find information about the working method. Companies can also add their own guides for their employees.

About the subscriptions

Yes. With Lexi FREE, you can start for free with one user and 1 GB of secure storage, which is enough for about one hour of video or 2,000 photos, and with a retention period of 90 days. This way, you can experience video evidence without obligation. View all information about the subscriptions

Yes. If your team is growing or you need more storage, you can easily upgrade to a higher plan (for example, from Lexi GO to Lexi PLUS). Your existing recordings and files will be retained.

Expect around one hour of video or about 2,000 photos per GB. This way, you can easily estimate which plan suits your usage.

Each plan includes a fixed amount of secure storage, from 1 GB with Lexi GO to 50 GB with Lexi MAX. If you need more, you can upgrade or switch to a larger plan.

All your questions go through our central helpdesk: you need to submit a ticket and track the status. The service level grows with your plan, from access to the knowledge base to priority 24/7 support.

About data retention

Your data is stored encrypted and all traffic is conducted via secure connections. Our servers never have access to your keys in readable form.

Your recordings are stored in secure object storage in the EU.

Yes, the database is encrypted at rest, the traffic is transmitted via a secure connection (HTTPS), and your signing keys are end-to-end secured based on your PIN.

The data will be retained for a period of ten years after the end of the collaboration, unless certain statutory limitation or retention periods require a longer duration.

On the legal aspect

In Europe, the eIDAS Regulation applies. As a result, a piece of evidence in digital form, such as video, is equated with a written document.

Lexigogo operates within the broader market of digital legal services and focuses on video contracts and evidence. To provide Lexigogo with a solid legal foundation, it must be verified whether video is permitted as evidence and what evidential value can be attributed to the videos. The concrete evidential value of any video in a legal proceeding is assessed in accordance with national evidential rules and in the same manner as the evidential value of a traditional document. Within Europe, a video recording is permitted as evidence based on the eIDAS Regulation. The evidential value assigned to it depends on how the user created the recording.
