Data management
Lexigogo ensures that the personal data stored and processed is properly secured. Both Lexigogo and its appointees take the necessary technical and organizational measures to secure the processing to be carried out.
To the extent possible and reasonable, Lexigogo will ensure that the data is updated and that incorrect, incomplete, and irrelevant data is corrected or deleted.
Furthermore, Lexigogo will, to the extent possible and reasonable, ensure that its appointees have only limited access to the data and processing options. In particular, this will be limited to those persons who need it for the performance of their tasks or to what is necessary for the needs of the service.
In this way, Lexigogo strives to provide an appropriate level of security for this personal data and its processing.
The data subject will be obliged to provide the requested personal data, a.o. in the App, to Lexigogo because this is a necessary condition for concluding and executing the agreement.
If the data subject does not provide the requested data, Lexigogo will not be able to provide the services ordered.
Purpose of the processing
Lexigogo processes personal data for various purposes. For each processing operation, only the data necessary to achieve the intended purpose is processed.
More specifically, Lexigogo pursues the following objectives:
- the qualitative execution of the agreement entered into;
- receiving feedback in order to optimize its services.
Legal basis for processing
The processing of personal data by Lexigogo is therefore based on the following legal grounds:
- consent of the customer/data subject;
- necessity for the performance of the agreement or the taking of pre-contractual measures;
- necessity for the representation of Lexigogo's legitimate interests, in particular ensuring the continuity of its activities;
- in order to comply with all legal or regulatory provisions to which Lexigogo is subject.
Sharing and transferring data
In principle, personal data is only shared with the consent of the natural person concerned or if this is necessary to complete a transaction or provide a service.
Furthermore, if necessary, the data will also be shared with Lexigogo's suppliers, when required by law, when Lexigogo is involved in a dispute with the data subject, to protect customers, to guarantee the security of the services, and to protect Lexigogo's (property) rights.
Lexigogo will not transfer the data in question to a third country or international organization.
Data retention period
The personal data collected will be processed by Lexigogo for the entire period during which the data subject uses Lexigogo's services. When the data subject no longer uses Lexigogo's services, their personal data will be retained for a period of ten years after the end of the collaboration with the data subject, unless certain legal limitation or retention periods require a longer period.This period will enable Lexigogo to comply with its legal obligations, enforce regulations, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, etc.
Rights of data subjects
Lexigogo will facilitate the exercise of the following rights by the natural person:

- the right to rectify their inaccurate personal data;
- the right to erase their personal data;
- the right to restrict the processing of their personal data;
- the right to data portability;
- the right to object to automated individual decision-making.
In addition, the data subject has the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data at any time. Lexigogo will respond to the customer's request without delay and in any case within one month.
Final provisions
If the data subject believes that the processing of their personal data constitutes a violation of the provisions of the GDPR, they may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Lexigogo expressly reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice to the customer.
